North Georgia's Premier Private Trophy Fly Fishing Destination

Mountaintown Trout is a private trophy managed venue located just 60 minutes from downtown Atlanta. The venue maintains two miles of private trout water on a historic family farm just west of Ellijay, GA. The property was slowly acquired starting in 1894 and remains an active family farm today.

Annual FCA Atlanta Fly Fishing Tournament

For the past six years, Moutaintown Trout has hosted an Annual FCA Fly Fishing Tournament for the Atlanta area Fellowship of Christian Atheletes. The tournament has raised over $250,000 to help spread the message of Jesus Christ to Atlanta area coaches and atheletes.
